1. Visit Okinawa to explore the history and culture
Okinawa, the most southern province of Japan, consists of hundreds of Ryukyu Islands over which more than thousand kilometers long. It is named as “Hawaii of Japan”. The largest island is Okinawa, its capital is Naha. In the past, Okinawa was the center of the prosperous Ryukyu Kingdom and being a significant port. Ryukyu kingdom was a tribute to the Ming Dynasty of the Chinese Empire so it gained many Chinese cultures including language, architecture style, appliances, and food etc.

The first place we will go to explore Okinawa’s history is Shuri-jo Castle. This castle is located on a low hill and surrounded by curved stone wall. The castle is red and more outstanding than others. Its style is influenced by China. There is carved dragon on the gable and roof.

The area around Shuri castle is divided into two zones. The first zone is the outer royal court which consists of gardens and buildings located within the main walls. This zone is free of admission.

Another zone is the inner royal court which is the castle. There are 3 buildings in the middle of the courtyard. We have to pay admission to enter into this area. The middle palace is called Seiden. It is 3-tiered wood building painted in red and adorned with golden dragon statues which representing the king and covered by Chinese tiles. It is a new palace that was built instead of the old one that was burned during World War II.

There is a scenic spot outside that we can see the city view beautifully. Another popular tourist attraction point is the Shureimon gate which is a red wooden gate that be influenced by the arch of China. This castle was registered as a World Heritage Site in December 2000. Visiting all points, you need to take a lot of time. The castle is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The entrance fee is 820 yen per person.

Another place where we can study art and culture of Okinawa is Ryukyu Mura Village. This village simulates a realistic and interesting atmosphere of ancient. In the past, Okinawa was the land of the thriving Ryukyu kingdom. There are a lot of trading here and also the culture exchange with other nations. It gains culture of other countries and combine to be a unique one mixing between Chinese and Japanese. It also has a unique earthenware, glass casting, weaving, dyeing, and dancing, etc.

Walking into the first section that is Theme Park, you will see a lot of shops, restaurants and also a small stage. You are able to enter this area for free. But if you are going to visit inside, you have to buy the tickets at the automatic ticket machine outside.
ภายในมีอาคารต่างๆ มากมาย อาคารแรกที่เห็นลักษณะเหมือนอาคารจีน ภายในมีเชือกยักษ์สำหรับใช้ในงาน Great Tug-of-War ซึ่งเป็นงานชักเย่อที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของโอกินาว่านั่นเอง เห็นแล้วบอกได้เลยว่ามันใหญ่มากจริงๆ ครับ
There are many buildings in this area. The first one we met looks like a Chinese building. Inside this building there is giant rope used in the Great Tug-of-War festival which is largest festival of Okinawa. Let’s see, it’s really big….wow!
ที่อาคารอื่น มีการแสดงการทอผ้า การทำบิงกาตะ (ลักษณะคล้ายผ้าบาติก) ทำขนม ฯลฯ บางอาคารเราสามารถเข้าร่วมทำ Workshop ได้ด้วย อาคารส่วนใหญ่ในนี้จะปูด้วยหลังคากระเบื้องแดง ซึ่งเป็นแบบดั้งเดิมของ โอกินาว่า และยังคงมีอยู่จริงตามแถบเกาะทาเคะโทมิด้วย
At other buildings, there are displays of weaving, making batik clothes, cooking etc. We can attend the workshops in some buildings. Most of buildings in this area are covered by red tiles which are the traditional style of Okinawa. Currently we can still see this style in Takeshi Island only.

ที่นี่เราจะได้เห็นรูปปั้นคล้ายสิงโตหรือกิเลนที่มีชื่อว่า Shisa ซึ่งเป็นรูปปั้นในตำนาน ในสมัยก่อนคนโอกินาว่าจะวางรูปปั้น Shisa ไว้ที่ประตูทางเข้าหน้าบ้าน หรือบนหลังคาบ้าน เพื่อปกป้องคุ้มครองคนในบ้านและขับไล่สิ่งไม่ดี Shisa มีสองเพศ ทั้งตัวผู้และตัวเมีย โดยตัวผู้นั้นจะอ้าปาก ส่วนตัวเมียหุบปาก เวลาซื้อก็ควรซื้อเป็นคู่แล้ววางด้วยกัน วิธีการวางให้วางตัวเมียไว้ซ้าย ตัวผู้ไว้ขวา ซึ่งจะทำหน้าที่กวักโชคลาภเงินทองและปกป้องอันตรายสิ่งไม่ดีทั้งปวงไม่ให้เข้ามาในบ้าน หากเจอก็อย่าลืมซื้อกลับมาวางไว้ที่บ้านกันนะครับ
Here we will see a lion-like statue called Shisa which is a legendary statue of Okinawa. In the past, the Okinawan people would put the Shisa statue at the entrance to the house or on the roof in order to protect people in the home and evict bad things. Shisa has two genders both male and female. Male will open his mouth while female will close her mouth. You should buy in pair (male and female) and put them next to each other. You should put female on the left and put male on the right. Shisa will call windfalls and money to you and also help to protect your home from the bad things. If you find it, do not forget to buy it back home.
2. ไป โอกินาว่า ไปชมอควาเรียมที่ใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองของโลก
หลายคนคงเคยเห็นภาพฉลามวาฬยักษ์ว่ายวนอยู่ในอควาเรียมขนาดใหญ่ หากอยากจะลองไปชมของจริงสักครั้ง คงต้องไปกันที่ Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium ซึ่งอยู่ในสวน Ocean Expo Park เป็นอควาเรียมที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในญี่ปุ่น และใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองของโลก บนพื้นที่กว่า 19,00 ตารางเมตร มีแท็งค์บรรจุสัตว์น้ำมากถึง 77 แท็งค์ แบ่งเป็น 4 ชั้น แต่ละชั้นแบ่งเป็นโซน Great Sea, Coral Reef, Black Current Sea และ Deep Sea
2. Visit Okinawa to see the world’s second largest aquarium
I think some of you may have seen giant whale sharks swimming in a large aquarium. If you want to see the real one by yourself, you should visit Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. This aquarium is located in the Ocean Expo Park. It is the largest aquarium in Japan and being the second largest aquarium in the world. With an area of over 19,000 square meters, there are 77 fish tanks divided into 4 layers. Each floor is divided into different zones including Great Sea, Coral Reef, Black Sea, and Deep Sea.

Being a large island surrounded by the ocean Okinawa is a province with abundant marine resources. When you go inside the aquarium, you will wonder with the Life in Inoh (Touch Pool) zone which is an open area that you can touch the real starfish like Kawatebukuro starfish, Manju starfish, and black sea leech. Let’s try to touch them and you will know how soft they are. The aquarium is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The admission fee is 820 yen.
ไฮไลท์ของที่นี่คงจะหนีไม่พ้นห้อง The Kuroshio Sea เป็นที่ตั้งของแท็งค์ขนาดใหญ่ที่มีความจุถึง 7,500 ลูกบาศก์เมตร ผนังด้านหน้าเป็นอะคริลิคหนาถึง 60 เซนติเมตร สูงถึง 8.2 เมตร กว้าง 22.5 เมตร ภายในมีฉลามวาฬยักษ์ยาวกว่า 7 เมตรอยู่ถึง 3 ตัว ว่ายไปมาร่วมกับกระเบนราหู ฉลาม และปลาพันธุ์อื่นๆ ให้เราสามารถถ่ายรูปได้อย่างใกล้ชิด
The highlight of this aquarim is Kuroshio Sea room that has a large tank with a capacity of 7,500 cubic meters. The front wall is made from 60 centimeters acrylic which high 8.2 meters and wide 22.5 meters. Inside the tank, there are 3 whale sharks which long more than 7 meters swimming together with Manta Rays, Sharks, and other fishes. We can take photos with them closely.
ผู้ดูแลปลาที่นี่เล่าว่าฉลามวาฬจะกินอาหารครั้งละ 35 กิโลกรัม ถ้ามันเผลอกินสัตว์อื่นเข้าไป มันจะคายออกมาทันที
The staffs who take care of these fishes say that the whale shark will eat 35 kilos food at a time. If it accidentally eats other animals, it will spit them out immediately.
นอกจากนี้ภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์ยังมีตู้ปลาอื่นๆ อาทิ ปลาเขตร้อน ทะเลปะการัง และทะเลฉลามอันตราย เหมือนเราได้เข้าไปอยู่ในโลกใต้ทะเลลึกกันจริงๆ ที่นี่เป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำแห่งเดียวที่ผู้เข้าชมสามารถชมฝูงปลากระเบน กระเบนราหู และปลากระเบนที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดได้ ปะการังที่โอกินาว่าเกิดจากกระแสน้ำอุ่นคุโรชิโอะ ซึ่งทางพิพิธภัณฑ์ได้จำลองสภาพแวดล้อมการดำรงชีพของปะการังเหล่านี้มาเพาะเลี้ยงให้เราได้ดู พิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำจุระอุมิเปิดให้บริการ เวลา 8:30-18:30 น. ในเดือน ต.ค.-ก.พ. และเวลา 8:30-20:00 น. ในเดือน มี.ค.-ก.ย. ค่าเข้าชมคนละ 1,850 เยน เด็ก 610 เยน ลองเช็คกับทางโรงแรมดูก่อนนะครับว่ามีตั๋วราคาพิเศษขายรึป่าว
Moreover, there are aquariums of other fishes including tropical fishes, coral reefs, and seas of dangerous shark. Seem like we have dive in the real deep underwater world. This is the only aquarium where visitors can see Manta Rays and the largest stingrays. The coral in Okinawa caused from Kuroshio hot spring. This aquarium has simulated the living environment of these coral reefs and shows us how to cultivate them. Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium opens daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in October-February and from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in March-September. The admission fee is 1,850 yen per person (610 yen for children). Don’t forget to check with your hotel because some hotels have special tickets for sale.
3. ไป โอกินาว่า ไปดูหาดทรายขาวๆ น้ำทะเลใสๆ
แน่นอนว่าไปโอกินาว่าทั้งที จะไม่ไปทะเลก็คงไม่ได้ เพราะโอกินาว่าได้ชื่อว่าเป็นเมืองชายหาดที่สวยงามที่สุดในญี่ปุ่น มีหาดทรายขาวสะอาดให้เลือกเล่นน้ำได้รอบเกาะ ทั้งชายหาดที่แดดร่ม ลมสงบ และชายหาดที่มีคลื่นแรง
3. Visit Okinawa to see the white beach and crystal sea
Visiting Okinawa, you have to go to the sea of course. Okinawa is known as the most beautiful beach city in Japan. There are white sandy beaches that people love to swim around the island. There are also the sunny beach which is not windy and having beautiful waves.
ว่าแล้วก็ไปเริ่มที่แรกกันที่ Kouri Island เกาะนี้ไม่ควรพลาดเพราะแค่เข้ามาสู่ภายในเกาะ ก็จะถูกดึงดูดด้วย Kouri Bridge ที่ทอดยาวอยู่เหนือทะเลสีเขียวมรกต สะพานแห่งนี้มีความยาว 2,020 เมตร เอาไว้ข้ามเกาะ Kouri Island (Nakijin village) และ Yagaji Island (Nago city) ขอบอกว่าที่นี่วิวสวยมากๆ ไม่ควรพลาด
Let start our journey at Kouri Island. You shold not miss this island because when you enter to this island, you will be impressed by the Kouri Bridge stretching over the emerald sea. The bridge is 2,020 meters long across the island of Kouri Island (Nakijin village) and Yagaji Island (Nago city). I would like to tell you that there is beautiful view here that should not to be missed.
แลนด์มาร์กที่สำคัญของที่นี่คือ The Heart Rock ซึ่งเป็นโขดหินรูปหัวใจ เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความรัก การจะเข้าไปชม The Heart Rock ใกล้ๆ จะต้องจอดรถไว้ด้านบนแล้วเดินลงไปที่บริเวณชายหาด ค่าจอดรถประมาณ 100-200 เยน แล้วแต่ทำเลที่ตั้ง บริเวณนี้มีที่จอดมากมายหลายเจ้า
Significant landmark here is the Heart Rock. It is heart-shaped rock that is a symbol of love. To visit the Heart Rock closely, you have to park on the top and walk down a bit to the beach. Parking fee is around 100-200 yen, depending on location. There are many parking lots in this area.

Let’s move on to the new popular tourist attraction that just recently opened called Kouri Ocean Tower. Here is scenic spot that has beautiful view. How to go up and down is very chic by riding automated golf cart which has no driver. We just sit, relax and enjoy the view. The cart will move automatically. The admission fee is 800 yen each.
ด้านบนเป็น Shell Museum ซึ่งเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์เปลือกหอย ที่มีเปลือกหอยหลากหลายชนิดมาจัดแสดงให้ชม หากถูกใจก็สามารถซื้อกลับบ้านได้
On the top, there is Shell Museum which exhibits a variety of shells. You can buy the shell back home if you like.
ขึ้นลิฟท์ไปที่ชั้น 2 เพื่อไปชมสะพาน Kouri และท้องทะเลใสๆ ข้างบนนี้มีเครื่องดื่มและอาหารขายด้วย จากนั้นสามารถเดินขึ้นบันไดวนไปยังชั้น 3 เพื่อเก็บภาพมุมสูง และต่อขึ้นไปที่ชั้น 4 เป็นดาดฟ้า เปิดโล่งที่มีกระจกกั้น ทำให้เห็นมุมสูงได้อย่างสะดวก
Then take the lift to the 2nd floor to see the Kouri Bridge and clear sea. There are beverages and food sold here. After that, let’s walk up to the 3rd floor in order to capture the high angle scene. And continue to go up to the 4th floor that is an open deck surrounded with glass wall. You will see panoramic view from here.
มาต่อกันที่ Mazamo Cave หรือที่เรียกกันว่าแหลมมันซาโม เป็นแหลมที่ยื่นออกไปในทะเลฝั่งตะวันตกของโอกินาว่า มีลักษณะคล้ายงวงช้าง ซึ่งเกิดจากการกัดเซาะตามธรรมชาติของลมและน้ำทะเลเป็นเวลาหลายร้อยปี หน้าผานี้มีความสูงกว่า 30 เมตร มองเห็นระลอกคลื่นซัดเข้าหาฝั่ง และเส้นขอบฟ้าตัดกับทะเลจีนตะวันออก น้ำใสจนมองเห็นปะการัง ทะเลไล่สีสวยงามจับใจ เป็นมุมที่นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาถ่ายรูปกันอย่างมาก สามารถเข้าชมได้ฟรี ตลอดทั้งวัน
Keep going to Mazamo Cave wher is the cave pointed at the western shore of Okinawa. It ไas caused by the natural erosion of wind and sea for hundreds of years and currently looks like the trunk of the elephant. This cliff is more than 30 meters high. We can see the waves rippling to the shore and the skyline merges with Eastern China sea. The water is very clear so you can see the coral. The sea is very colorful. It is a popular point that tourists always come to take photos. You can access Mazamo Cave for free access throughout the day.
อีกหนึ่งจุดชมวิวที่อยากแนะนำก็คือ Nirai Kanai Bridge เป็นถนนที่มีทิวทัศน์งดงามที่สุดของแถบใต้ มีสะพานเชื่อมต่อหน้าผาสองด้านซึ่งมีความสูงต่างกันถึง 80 เมตร มีความยาว 1.2 กม. มีโครงสร้างอันโดดเด่นคือทางโค้งขนาดใหญ่ หากขับรถมาจากส่วนบนของสะพานจะมองเห็นทะเลและท้องฟ้าสวยงาม น่าประทับใจสุดๆ มีจุดจอดรถให้ถ่ายรูป
Another recommended viewing point is the Nirai Kanai Bridge, which is the most scenic road in the South. The bridge connects to two-sided cliff, which has a height of 80 meters and 1.2 kilometers long. Its distinctive structure is a large arch. Driving from the top of the bridge, you will see the sea and the beautiful sky that are very impressive. There is parking space for the tourists who want to take a picture.

Gyokusendo is the most magnificent stalactite cave in Japan. It is a stalactite cave underground located within the Okinawa World. This cave is more than 5 kilometers deep and 890 meters wide. There are more than millions of stalactites and stalagmites inside. This cave is likely to be over 300,000 years old. It is an art of stalactites and stalactites that are created by nature. It opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The admission fee is 1,650 yen which include fee of Kingdom Village.

The pathways in the cave is very good that is a steel bridge decorated by a lot of light. There are water stream flows along the way. Some area is like a small waterfall. When water flowing, minerals and limestone will go with water and will stick together as a lot of crystal shapes. This shape takes hundreds of year in formation.

The famous food of Okinawa is fresh seafood. So, we intend to eat seafood at market that is known as the kitchen of Okinawan named The First Makishi Public Market. It is a large market developed from the black market in the postwar period. Local people call it as the kitchen of Naha. There are around 130 shops that sell raw materials include almost everything – fish, vegetables, fruits, snacks, drinks, etc.

On the ground floor, there is 3 zones including market for fresh meat, market of fresh fish, and market of processed foods. I am so impressed with the zone that sell fresh fish. There are a lot of colorful fish. The 2nd floor is a food court. There are 13 food and dessert shops. We can have lunch in Mochiage style that we can purchase fish at the market (on the ground floor) and let the shops on the second floor cook them. The cooking cost is about 500 yen (per person, up to three dishes).

In the market, there is also Blue Seal shop which is a famous ice-cream shop served only in Okinawa. The recommended taste of ice-cream is purple potato that is the famous product of this city. You will see a lot of products made from purple potato sold in Okinawa. The market is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Another market that is recommended named Tomari Fish Market. It is a very small market but selling a lot of fresh seafood. there are two small tables with only 4-6 seats in the market. Its seem like a fish market.

There is a pier at the back of the market, so the seafood here is very fresh. Recommend that you should go in the early morning in order to see the fish auction fish and also enjoy with fresh fish.

The first recommended dish is homemade scone that is soft scone served with fresh cream and jam. Another dish is Umibudo which is well-known grape seaweed that live only in Okinawa and Philippines. It is clear seaweed and contains liquid inside. Its taste is crunchy, salty, and nutritious. There are also Hibiscus tea, coffee, and chocolate. The restaurant is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Every Mondays that are not public holidays, the restaurant will open at 2:00 p.m.)

One more café I would like to recommend is The Junglila Café and Restaurant. This café was just opened in last April. It is located by the sea with a very nice atmosphere. The view of sunset in the evening that the sun goes down to the sea is very beautiful and nice for photo shoot.

The history of this shop is quite long. It has been open for decades.

The road is named 1 mile of miracle because it was recovered very quickly after the war. Next to Don Quijote is Pablo shop that is very popular. Pablo products here is a bit differ from Thai’s. The one that you should try is Purple Potato Cheese Tart which is the famous product of Okinawa. If you walk along this street, you will find variety of things. Another important street is Tsuboya Yachimun-dori where is the source of Yachimun (earthenware) which is the symbol of Okinawa. This street is 400 meters long and be paved with stone. There are also pottery shops and cafes along this street.

รถเช่ามีหลายขนาดให้เลือกตามจำนวนผู้ร่วมเดินทาง ครั้งนี้ผมเช่ารถของบริษัท OTS ซึ่งมีเคาน์เตอร์เล็กๆ อยู่ในสนามบิน ต้องไปติดต่อที่เจ้าหน้าที่ก่อน แล้วจึงขึ้นรถ Shuttle Bus ของ OTS ไปยังสำนักงาน พอไปถึงก็มีพนักงานที่เป็นคนไทยมาอธิบายเรื่องกฎ ระเบียบต่างๆ ให้ฟังอย่างละเอียด หากใครมีแพลนเที่ยวที่แน่นอนแล้ว ขอแนะนำให้ซื้อตั๋วสำหรับเข้าสถานที่ต่างๆ ได้ที่สำนักงานของ OTS ซึ่งจะได้รับส่วนลดพิเศษอีกด้วย รถแทบทุกคัน มี GPS ในตัวทั้งนั้น การหาพิกัดของสถานที่ต่างๆ ที่นี่เค้าใช้ Map Code หรือเบอร์โทรศัพท์ของสถานที่นั้นๆ Map Code ก็หาได้ง่ายตามคู่มือที่ทาง OTS ให้มา
The cars they offered are available in several sizes based on the number of passengers. This trip I rented car from OTS which has a small counter at the airport. You have to contact the staff at the airport first and then take OTS shuttle bus to go to OTS office. There are Thai staffs at OTS office and they will come to explain us in detail about the driving rules in Okinawa. If you have plan for some attractions already, I recommend you to buy tickets in advance at OTS office in order to get special discount. Most cars here already have GPS system. Finding the route of your destinations is by keying the map code or the phone number of that place. Map code is easy to find in the manuals provided by OTS.
การจอดรถที่นี่เป็นเรื่องสำคัญ เราจะต้องจอดในบริเวณที่ให้จอดรถเท่านั้น ห้ามจอดริมถนน หรือข้างทางเด็ดขาด ที่จอดรถที่นี่ก็เก๋ไก๋ พอเราเอารถเข้าช่องจอดปุ๊บก็จะมีไม้กั้นเด้งขึ้นมาใต้ท้องรถ พอจะนำรถออกก็ต้องไปจ่ายเงินที่ตู้ พอจ่ายเงินปุ๊บ ไม้กั้นก็จะตกลง ทีนี้ก็สามารถเอารถออกได้แล้ว ส่วนราคาค่าที่จอดนั้นก็มีหลากหลาย แล้วแต่ความใกล้-ไกลของแต่ละสถานที่ ยังไงก็ลองเลือกกันดูนะครับ อีกเรื่องที่สำคัญในการขับรถที่นี่คือ เรื่องบัสเลน หากขับรถเที่ยวในวันจันทร์ – ศุกร์ จะต้องสังเกตสัญลักษณ์ Bus Lane บนพื้นถนนให้ดีนะ ว่าเค้าห้ามรถทั่วไปเข้าไปวิ่งในช่อง Bus Lane ระหว่างเวลากี่โมงบ้าง การขึ้นทางด่วนที่นี่ก็ไม่ยาก รับทั้งเหรียญ แบงก์ และบัตรเครดิต สะดวกสบายเป็นที่สู้ดดดด โดยเราต้องรับบัตรตอนเข้าก่อน แล้วจ่ายเงินตอนออกทางด่วนในภายหลัง ต้องเก็บบัตรไว้ดีๆ หากไม่ได้รับบัตรหรือบัตรหาย อาจมีค่าปรับแพงสุดถึง 1,000 เยน เลยนะ
Parking is very important here. We have to park only in parking area. Do not park on or aside the road that is not a parking lot. How to park in car park here is very chic. After you parked in car park for a while, a wooden bar at the ground (under the car) will pop up and will lock your car at that point. If you want to move your car, you have to pay at the machine and then the bar under your car will disappear. The parking fee is varied depends on the location. Another important issue is the bus lane. If you drive on Monday – Friday, you must be noted that there are bus lanes on the roads that you should carefully notice. It is not difficult to take the express way in Okinawa because you can conveniently pay either by coins or credit card. When you enter the express way, you need to get the ticket first and then pay for it at the exit later. It is necessary to keep this ticket because you will be fined up to 1,000 yen if you cannot show the ticket.
เวลาคืนรถ เค้าก็มีหลายสาขาให้เลือก ลองดูจากคู่มือได้เลย รถที่ผมเช่าคราวนี้เป็นรถ Toyota Aqua Hybrid คันกระทัดรัด นั่ง 4 คนสบายๆ ใส่กระเป๋าใบกลาง 2 ใบ พร้อมกระเป๋าเป้ 2 ใบ กระเป๋าถือ และของจุกจิก พอดีๆ ที่สำคัญประหยัดน้ำมันมากๆ ขับรถเที่ยว 3 วัน น้ำมันลดไปไม่ถึงครึ่งถังเลยค่าเช่าตกวันละ 4,200 เยน เท่านั้น ไปกันหลายคน หารแล้วคุ้มมาก มาเที่ยว โอกินาว่า ถ้าขับรถไม่เป็นให้หนีบเพื่อนที่ขับรถได้มาด้วย รับรองฟินเฟร่อ
There are many branches you can choose to return the car. You can check them in the manuals. The car I rented this time is Toyota Aqua Hybrid. There is space for 4 passengers, 2 medium luggage, and 2 backpacks. It is also save fuel. After drove for 3 days, the oil was used less than half of the tank. The rental fee is 4,200 yen per day.

10. Go to Okinawa by affordable direct flight
Now everyone can go to Okinawa very easily and affordable. Peach Air offers direct flight to Naha Airport by flying for only four and a half hours. The flight schedule is very attractive. You will reach Okinawa in the morning, so you can start your trip then. For return flight, you will reach to Bangkok at night so you can take a rest before starting your work in the next day. Easy way to reserve the ticket -> flypeach which often launches the attractive promotion. Keep your eye on it and don’t miss.

Departure flight is at 01:45 – 07:30 a.m. Arrival flight is at 9:20 p.m. – 00:15 a.m. The space between the seats is not too tight or not uncomfortable. The passengers are able to carry stuff not more than 10 kilograms per person and limited to maximum 2 pieces per person. For the check-in process, all passengers departing from Japan can check in automatically at the kiosk (excluding international flight departed from Haneda and Shin-Chitose airports). In case passengers departed from other countries, they have to check-in at the counter within a specified period.
ที่สนามบิน โอกินาว่า มีทั้งหมด 3 Terminal คือ International, Domestic และ LCC หากโดยสารสายการบิน Peach Air จะไปลง/ขึ้นที่ LCC Terminal หากใครอยากมาช้อปปิ้งหรือหาของทานกันที่ Terminal อื่นก็สามารถนำกระเป๋าไปฝากไว้ที่ตู้ Locker แล้วนั่งรถ Shuttle Bus ไปยัง Terminal อื่นได้ โดย Shuttle Bus นี้รับ-ส่งฟรี ออกทุก 10 นาที ถือได้ว่าสะดวกทีเดียว แต่หากไม่ซีเรียสมากที่ LCC Terminal ก็มีร้านของฝากเล็กๆ กับร้านกาแฟให้สามารถนั่งชิวได้ แต่ที่นั่งอาจจะน้อยไปสักเล็กน้อย
At Okinawa Airport, there are 3 terminals which are International, Domestic, and LCC. Peach Air passengers have to use LCC Terminal. If you want to shopping or find something to eat, you can keep your luggage at the locker and take free shuttle bus to go to other terminals. This shuttle bus will depart every 10 minutes. That is very convenient. There is small souvenir shop and coffee shop at LCC Terminal but the seats are very limited.

Perhaps we should not overlook the little things like travel insurance but we should prepare it before traveling. This trip one of my friends in the group had diarrhea and took almost 20 rounds in a toilet per one day, but it is good that she had Sompo travel insurance.
